Marley
Knows all his basic tricks!
😍 Marley's Personality:
Marley is a sweet, loving 4‑year‑old Pug with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is playful, energetic, and absolutely adores getting out and about. He’s well‑trained, walks beautifully on a harness, and knows all his basic tricks.
Marley thrives on attention - he loves bum scratches, affection, and being tucked into his bed at night. He’s also very food‑motivated and will happily show off his skills for a treat. Friendly and enthusiastic, Marley believes every animal he meets is a potential best friend.
🏡 Marley's Ideal Forever Home:
Marley is best suited to a home where he can be the centre of attention. He may enjoy living with another dog or animal friend, but it must be the right match - Marley can be quite intense in his enthusiasm to make friends.
He is not suited to a home with small children. Marley becomes jealous, steals toys, and will try to eat anything a child drops or plays with. For this reason, an adult‑only home or a home with older children is ideal.
Marley will thrive with adopters who enjoy his playful nature, appreciate his affectionate quirks, and can give him the time, structure, and companionship he deserves.
🛟Marley's Rescue Story:
Marley is an assisted rehome. His owner is a young dad, and due to Marley’s jealousy around small children, Marley has been living with the owner’s parents. Although they care deeply for him, they do not have the time to provide Marley with the active, engaged life he needs.
Marley will remain in his current home until the right forever family is found - one where he can be cherished, included, and supported to thrive.
🩺 Marley's Medical History:
Marley is desexed, vaccinated, and treated for heartworm, fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms.
Marley has food sensitivities, which are controlled with a specific diet.
No other ongoing medical concerns have been identified.
He will go to his new home with all his belongings.
