Rosie - On Trial!
I love affection!
💗 Rosie's Personality:
Rosie is a very pretty 2–3 year old Bull Arab X (with something smaller mixed in), making her a lovely medium-sized girl. When she first came into our care, Rosie was timid and unsure of the world around her, even hesitant about being put on a lead. With patience and gentle encouragement from our loving volunteers, her confidence has blossomed beautifully.
She now walks very well on a lead, especially alongside other dogs, and is growing more self-assured each day.
Rosie loves affection and enjoys plenty of fuss from her people. She absolutely loves playing in the yard with Ruby, our Bulldog X, and it’s been wonderful to see her playful side come out. She also adores tummy tickles and cuddles, happily soaking up attention whenever it’s offered.
While she may be initially submissive or slightly hesitant with other dogs if she feels overwhelmed, once she feels safe, her sweet and gentle nature truly shines. Rosie is a very sweet girl who just wants to feel secure and loved. She is absolutely adorable!
🏡 Rosie's Ideal Forever Home:
Rosie would thrive in a calm, nurturing home where her confidence can continue to grow at her own pace. She would suit a family, couple, or individual looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, and who is prepared to give her plenty of love, reassurance, and attention — with or without another dog. With kindness and patience, Rosie will reward her new family with unwavering loyalty and devotion.
🛟 Rosie's Rescue Story:
Rosie was found wandering in Taree. With no microchip, the pound was unable to contact her owner. After two weeks in the pound, we welcomed Rosie into the Sweet Pea family. We don't know her history, but as soon as a lead was attached to her, she hit the deck, and it took a lot of encouragement to get her to walk out of the pound. Rosie was in season when she arrived in our care, and there were fears she may already be pregnant, but a vet examination thankfully proved she wasn't.
🩺 Rosie's Medical History:
Rosie is a fit and healthy 2-3-year-old girl, ready to begin her new life with her forever family. During her time in our care, she has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated with flea, tick, heartworm, and intestinal worm prevention. She is up to date with all routine veterinary care.
📖 More on Rosie:
Rosie is now confident, happy, outgoing and ready to start her new life in a loving forever home. She has a very cute stumpy tail and loves playing with our other smaller rescue doggies. She still tends to hit the deck if she is confronted with other doggies who are too boisterous for her. But she shows no signs of reactivity, only submissiveness. This sweet little girl has not a bad bone in her body!
