😍 Stevie’s Personality:

Stevie is a joyful, goofy, affectionate young giant with a heart as big as his smile. He adores people and genuinely believes he’s a lap dog - if there’s a human nearby, he’ll try to sit ON them rather than next to them.

He’s a gentle player with other dogs and loves making new friends. Despite his size, Stevie is incredibly sweet‑natured, social, and eager to please. He walks beautifully on lead without pulling, enjoys his daily outings, and loves exploring the yard.

Stevie is still very much a large‑breed puppy: energetic, curious, and occasionally destructive with toys. He thrives when he’s mentally stimulated, enriched, and included in family life.

🏡 Stevie’s Ideal Home:

Because of his size and enthusiasm, Stevie is best suited to a home without young children. He needs space to stretch out, play, and enjoy his zoomies - a large yard and living area will help him feel comfortable and confident.

Stevie would benefit from having a friendly canine companion, but he would also be perfectly happy as an only dog - as long as he receives plenty of company, affection, and regular social time (play dates, dog park visits, or outings with other dogs).

Most importantly, Stevie needs a family who can offer stability, certainty, and commitment. His early life was quite unsettled, and he now needs a home where he feels secure, understood, and truly part of the family.

🛟Stevie’s Rescue Story:

Stevie first joined the Sweet Pea family from Port Macquarie Animal Shelter as a 7‑month‑old pup weighing 26kg. He was adopted, but as he grew - and grew - he eventually reached 54kg, far larger than anyone anticipated.

His adoptive family loved him dearly, but Stevie simply outgrew their home and their young child. He returned to Sweet Pea recently, and we’re so proud of how beautifully he has settled back in. He slipped straight into routine, made new friends instantly, and reminded everyone why he’s such a favourite.

Now, Stevie is ready for a forever home that can embrace his size, his silliness, and his enormous capacity for love.

- Microchipped

- Vaccinated

- Treated for heartworm, fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms

He has no known health issues. As a large‑breed puppy, he should remain on a high‑quality puppy diet until he is 2 years old to support healthy growth and joint development.
