😺 Sooty's Personality:

Sooty is a handsome, incredibly affectionate boy with the sweetest nature and the happiest purrs. He adores chin and ear scratches, leaning in lovingly for more and is very content being held. His inquisitive streak makes him playful, curious, and full of gentle energy. With his striking black nose, black whiskers, and gorgeous green eyes, Sooty is as stunning as he is friendly - a true heart‑melter.

🏡 Sooty's Ideal Forever Home:

Sooty will thrive in a home that enjoys interactive affection, gentle play, and lots of pats. He’s a people‑focused boy who loves being part of daily life and will happily follow you around for companionship. A full, loving household where he will receive lots of attention and can be cherished and adored will suit him beautifully. He has so much love to go around!

🐾 Sooty's Rescue Story:

Sooty came to us from our friends at ROAR in Cobar - he and his siblings were impounded - but Sooty came into care ready to love and be loved. Despite a setback with his leg in his foster home, he has blossomed into a confident, affectionate cat who embraces every moment of kindness. His resilience shines through in his gentle nature and eagerness to bond with his humans.

🩺 Sooty's Medical History:

Sooty is desexed, vaccinated, and treated for fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms.

While in care in Cobar, Sooty broke his femur while climbing a tree - but he hasn't let this set him back at all! After arriving at Sweet Pea, he underwent surgery to remove the femoral head from his hip socket; although he is currently on strict cage rest while scar tissue develops and his muscles heal, he is comfortable and enjoying life. No ongoing concerns have been identified.
