Chup is sweet, clever, responsive, and deeply affectionate. Once he feels safe, he blossoms into the most loyal, gentle, and grateful companion. He has clearly received training and love in his past - and it shows in his manners, his attentiveness, and his eagerness to connect.

He used to go boating and fishing with his dad, and he absolutely loved those adventures. He was an only dog in a devoted home, and while he would thrive as the centre of someone’s world again, he is adaptable enough to suit almost any household with the right introductions and support.

📖 Rescue Story

This beautiful boy spent a long, stressful period in the pound - fearful, unsettled, and overlooked. His previous owner tried desperately to have him released to friends, but despite the best efforts of council staff, the plan fell through.

For reasons we’ll never understand, no other rescue stepped forward. Perhaps his fear in the pound masked the incredible dog underneath. But we couldn’t let time run out for him - and we are so grateful we didn’t.

Chup’s journey into our care was full of obstacles - a true Murphy’s Law saga - but we fought for him, and he fought right alongside us. The moment he arrived, his fear softened, and his true nature emerged: he is one of the best dogs we’ve ever met.
